GA International 2008, Tokyo, Japan

Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners will feature alongside 20 international practices at this year’s GA International exhibition at the GA gallery in Tokyo, Japan.  All the projects showcased are work in progress, and RSHP is exhibiting Parc 1 – Yeouido, a major new mixed-use development in Seoul, South Korea. The overall concept is for a complex that will integrate public transport, retail, commercial and hotel accommodation to form a new urban hub. Central to this concept is to establish a series of buildings which will create a hierarchy of public spaces, including tree-lined boulevards and plazas for public events. The development comprises two office towers, one of which – when completed – will be one of South Korea’s tallest buildings.

All schemes from the exhibition will be published in a special issue - GA Document International 2008 - to accompany the show.
