Mark Darbon
BA (Hons), Dip. Arch (Hons) ARCUK

Mark joined Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners when it was Richard Rogers Partnership in 1990 and was made a Director in 2001. He has worked on a number of key projects including Channel 4 Headquarters in London, Thames Valley University in Slough and Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. He was Project Architect for the Montevetro apartments in Battersea, Ashford Designer Retail Centre in Kent and St Katharine Docks in London.
Key to the success of these projects is a highly flexible approach to design, an understanding of the complexities of each site, and a high degree of collaboration with external consultants.
Mark’s involvement in significant competition entries such as the Fourth Grace, Liverpool and Silvertown Docks, London has greatly contributed to his expertise in urban regeneration. More recently he has been involved in masterplanning projects such as Woolston shipyard in Southampton, Convoy’s Wharf in London and a new masterplan for the central area of Cambridge surrounding the station. Mark enjoys working on a range of projects from large-scale urban regeneration projects to small to medium-scale building projects. These currently include a project in west London that integrates private and affordable housing with a community care centre and retail element, and a housing project in Deptford, South London.
