Lennart Grut

Lennart Grut is the Director in Charge of managing most of the practice’s projects in Europe and Asia, including currently, major projects in Spain, Italy, New York, Washington DC, Taiwan and Japan. His role includes organising and managing multidisciplinary teams in multilingual environments to ensure delivery of projects within a wide variety of cost and time constraints, while always respecting the exacting quality standards set by the partnership.

He has particular expertise in the planning and design of major airport projects and has been Director in Charge of both the Terminal 5 development at Heathrow as well as the New Terminal Development at Barajas, Madrid, winner of the 2006 Stirling Prize. More recently he has been leading urban renewal projects in Europe and the UK, as well as the practice’s recent involvement in the USA. In addition Lennart oversees the Digital Design and IT at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
